Workers World Party tells Kurds their "main enemy" is Washington, not ISIS and Damascus

After a month of silence, Workers World Party now claims they support the Kurdish struggle against ISIS.

Typically, they lump the progressive struggle of this oppressed nationality in with their usual list of anti-working class organizations and governments: Hezbollah, Tehran, and Damascus.

Is the "main enemy" of the Kobane Kurds in Washington?

It takes a helluva lot of nerve to tell a people who have spent several years fighting ISIS that ISIS is not the main threat to their struggle.  True, the U.S. may label Kurdish organizations terrorist. But it is ISIS driving its tanks and truck bombs at Kobane today.

In 'war on ISIS,' the main enemy is at home http://www.workers.org/articles/2014/10/13/war-isis-main-enemy-home/
